In 2004, Marcus Meyer was fed up. After years in corporate America, he kept watching businesses settle for cleaning companies that showed up late, did half the job, and disappeared when you called with a problem. He figured Tampa Bay deserved better—so he started Gator Cleaning Solutions in Odessa with one mission: show up, do the work right, and actually answer the phone.
Twenty years later, we've grown from Marcus knocking on doors to a team of over 300 people serving 12 counties across Florida. But the approach hasn't changed. We still answer our phones. We still show up when we say we will. And if something's not right, we fix it—no runaround, no excuses.
We've cleaned through hurricanes, handled everything from small medical offices to massive school districts, and built relationships with clients who've been with us since the beginning. Tampa Bay isn't just where we work—it's home. We grew up here. Most of our team lives here. We see our clients at Publix, at Lightning games, around town. That matters when you're trusting someone with your building keys.
We're not the cheapest option, and we're not trying to be. We're the reliable one. The one that does what we say we're going to do, when we say we're going to do it. That's worked for nearly two decades, and we're proud of our growth.
